*Pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez has been through the pits of love and marriage, more than once.
After splitting with Marc Anthony, JLo admits divorce is tough but healing is possible.
She starred in “Parker,” playing the role of a woman struggling through a painful divorce. The role resonated with her in a healing way.
“The timing was crazy because when they offered me the role it hadn’t happened. So I was kind of just thinking about the character and that she was at the worst time in her life. But, when we actually started shooting the film, I was in the worst time of my life, one of the worst times in my life. You know, going through my own divorce. Jennifer continues, “When you have kids and you go through something like that, you can’t show them what you’re going through, you know. So you have to be so strong all day…and you know when you’re working you have to be professional all day…But, in front of the camera, I got to act like how I felt, you know so it was like therapy for me.”
She’s currently dating sweetheart Casper Smart. Although she’d like to be married one day and live that “fantasy,” she explains that when she met her beau, it was about having fun and enjoying life.
